Wendy Wilson, Building Designer, AIBD, LEEP AP, CID 6593
Wendy is a LEED AP and holds a bachelor's degree in design from Woodbury University with an emphasis in architectural history. She worked in commercial interiors for nearly 15 years designing retail and restaurant spaces. In 2002-2004, leaving the corporate world, Wendy received a Certificate from Pasadena City College's two-year Building Construction Program. Attending 4 hours a day, five days a week she and her fellow students participated in building a new home - from grading the site, digging and pouring footings, to framing the roof and installing the interior finishes.
The course instructor hired Wendy to design a large remodel and addition to his bungalow in Monrovia which won unanimous approval from the Design Review Board for the project's compatibility with the local Craftsman aesthetic. With a life-long love of architecture, extensive design background, and willingness to get her hands dirty, Wendy Wilson & Associates has built a reputation for designing high-quality projects throughout the San Gabriel Valley.
